Online Continuing Education Courses approved for Nevada MLD

"Clear to Close: Nevada Edition" -- 10 CEU's NV MLD

This course satisfies the 10 hour continuing education requirement for Nevada. 

It illuminates every corner of loan processing – from requirements and products to ordering documents and appraisals, while also providing abbreviated modules based on federal laws (e.g. Truth-in-Lending, RESPA, FCRA, ECOA, HMDA). Students who complete this course will gain a new understanding of the many aspects of mortgage loan processing.

Nevada State Law – comprehensive coverage of the Nevada State Law, with a section-by-section breakdown that offers both seasoned and novice mortgage brokers a plainly written companion to the Nevada State Code.

Federal Law Update – outlines RESPA, TIL, ECOA, the Gramm-Leach Bliley privacy policies, required disclosures, and government monitoring information, as well as covering the Flood Disaster Protection Act, the National Flood Insurance Act, and the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act.

Processing Power – this module illuminates every corner of loan processing, a mortgage glossary, information on loan processes and life cycles, requirements and loan products, ordering documents and appraisals, mortgage math, income verification and calculation, credit bureaus, private mortgage insurance, underwriting guidelines, and number of other practical insights into time management, listening skills, resolutions, and goal setting. "Mortgage Fraud Detection and Prevention: NV Edition" -- 10 CEU's NV MLD

This course satisfies the 10 hour continuing education requirement for Nevada. 

The course provides an in-depth examination of fraud in the mortgage industry. Fraud is a growing problem in the industry that harms borrowers, brokers and lenders. After taking this course, students will become more familiar with the various types of fraud, learn how to identify fraud, actions to take if they suspect fraud, as well as have a better understanding of ethics in the mortgage industry.

Truth-in-Lending Act (TIL or TILA) —lays out disclosure and advertising requirements, rights of rescission, and penalties for violation, as stated in this federal statute, as well as a detailed APR explanation.

Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) —addresses discrimination, enforcement, civil liability, and annual reports as defined by this federal law.
